The subject of labor and social security was approved to set up in 2001 and began to recruit students in 2002. It is one of the first batch of national first-class undergraduate subject construction sites in China.   Upholding the cultivation principle of imparting skills to students to let them settle down, we strive to keep up with the social changes, making a feature of labor relations management, pension service management and medical service management. Students are supposed to master interdisciplinary knowledge of public management, economics and sociology, and have innovative spirit and dedicated labor quality. We aim to cultivate talents who can meet the requirements for senior managers of relevant government departments, social organizations, enterprises and institutions such as departments of human resources and social security, medical insurance, civil affairs, health commissions, trade unions and disabled persons’ federations.
