On November 19th, the International Academic Symposium on Rural Revitalization and Common Prosperity and the first China Rural Xiaogang Doctoral Forum co-hosted by Anhui University of Finance and Economics and Xiaogang Village of Fengyang County were held in Anhui Xiaogang Cadre College. Yu Baotao, Secretary of the Party Committee of the University, Zhu Hongjun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Vice President of the University, Cheng Yi, Member of the Party Group and Chief Agronomist of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Anhui Province, Pan Jin, Editor-in-Chief, Vice President and Director of the Editorial Department of the Innovation Project of China Rural Economy and China Rural Observation, Li Xinlong, Executive Vice President of Anhui Xiaogang Cadre College, and Li Jinzhu, Member of the Standing Committee of the Fengyang County Party Committee and First Secretary of Xiaogang Village, attended the opening ceremony in a combination of online and offline mode. Heads of relevant functional departments of the University, the School of Finance and Public Administration, and representatives of teachers and students attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided over by Zhu Hongjun.

Yu Baotao pointed out that the 20th CPC National Congress made important arrangements for comprehensively promoting rural revitalization and accelerating the construction of an agricultural power, pointed out the way forward, and determined the action guide. In recent years, the university has given full play to the advantages of economics and management, integrated the research strength of three rural areas, and successively established the China Xiaogang Research Institute of Anhui University of Finance and Economics and the China Rural Revitalization Research Institute of Anhui University of Finance and Economics, continuously deepened the strategic cooperation with Xiaogang Village, the first village of China's rural reform, continued to build a theoretical and practical innovation platform, and created a series of research results on rural revitalization. The school will be guided by the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, deeply implement the development strategy of Ancai New Economic Management, follow the development path of going out, building a platform, and upgrading the level, focus on implementing the fundamental task of cultivating virtue and cultivating people, give full play to the advantages of talent team and discipline scientific research, insist on writing papers on the land of China, continue to do a good job in academic and physical research and academic interpretation of rural revitalization and common prosperity, consciously be an active communicator and loyal practitioner of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Party, and strive to create a small post model for rural revitalization and common prosperity Contribute to Anhui's financial strength, provide talent support and intellectual support for comprehensively promoting rural revitalization, and make new and greater contributions to serving the high-quality economic development of Anhui.

Cheng Yi said that under the strong leadership of the provincial party committee and the provincial government, the whole province has taken the two strong and one increase action as the traction to comprehensively promote rural revitalization. The theme of this forum is rural revitalization and common prosperity, which is to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and carry out the General Secretary Xi's Specific measures for the important exposition of the three rural areas. We should take this conference as an opportunity to brainstorm and conduct in-depth discussions, fully understand the core essence of rural revitalization and common prosperity, and strive to create a new situation in the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas in Anhui. Based on the research of academic journals such as China Rural Economy and China Rural Observation, Pan Jin pointed out that rural revitalization and common prosperity have important theoretical value and practical significance. She hoped that experts and scholars would carry out a series of in-depth research on agricultural theory with Chinese characteristics, and gather good wisdom and provide good ideas for comprehensively promoting rural revitalization. Li Jinzhu briefly introduced the achievements of Xiaogang Village in comprehensively promoting rural revitalization, and hoped that the participating scholars would focus on modern agriculture in combination with the actual situation of Xiaogang, write their papers on the motherland, and leave the results in the field of hope, so as to provide wisdom and strength for building a Xiaogang model of rural revitalization and common prosperity.

Zhou Qunzhi, representative of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and secretary of the Xiaogangcun Party Committee, and Gu Siwei, director of the Social Cooperation Office (Alumni and Education Fund Work Office) of our university, signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties. The two sides will systematically integrate their own advantageous resources, carry out in-depth long-term cooperation in production, education and research, talent training, transformation of scientific research achievements, and improvement of independent innovation capabilities, and jointly explore new paths and channels for deepening school-local cooperation and promoting educational development.

More than 200 experts, scholars, teachers and students from more than 50 famous universities and research institutes at home and abroad, including Chinese Minmin University, Fudan University and University of Missouri Columbia, attended the seminar. The keynote speech stage of the conference was presided over by Professor Chu Deyin, Dean of the School of Finance and Public Administration, Professor He Yanling, Second-level Professor of the School of Public Administration of Chinese Minmin University, Professor Zhang Lei, Dean of the School of Liberal Arts and Law of Northeastern University, Professor Song Xiongwei of the Department of Politics and Law of the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Professor Xiong Yihan, Deputy Dean of the School of International Relations and Public Affairs of Fudan University, Professor Wen Hong, Director of the Social Governance Research Center of South China University of Technology, and Professor Wu Financial Management, Dean of the School of Social and Political Science of Anhui University. Professor Zhang Zhisheng, School of Finance and Public Administration, Anhui University of Finance and Economics, delivered keynote speeches on Rural Revitalization and Common Prosperity. The conference set up a doctoral forum and four parallel forums, focusing on the themes of Xiaogang Spirit and Rural Revitalization, Rural Revitalization and Grassroots Governance, Rural Revitalization and Community Construction, Rural Revitalization and Policy Implementation, and Rural Revitalization and Common Prosperity.
