On December 13th, the School of Finance and Public Administration held an symposium for students who are to attend the postgraduate entrance examination (“kaoyan” in short) of 2024 in Conference Room 313 of Bowen Building. Members of the school leadership and students representatives attended the meeting.
On behalf of the school, Chen Xiannian, secretary of the Party committee, gave big thumb to students who are working hard and pursuing their dreams with courage and conveyed them sincere care and blessings. He encouraged young students that “kaoyan” is a “tug of war” that tests their willpower. Only by persisting to the end can they “ blossom and bear fruit”. When facing the second major exam in life after “gaokao”, students should adjust themselves and prepare confidently. In the final sprint stage, they should arrange their review schedule reasonably, pay attention to their physical and mental health, strive to improve their learning efficiency, and firmly believe that they will succeed. At the same time, Chen reminded that students should plan scientifically and make multiple preparations after “kaoyan”, seize various recruitment opportunities, and seek employment.
At the meeting, other leaders of the school had cordial exchanges with students, inquiring about their application to universities, current study and life situations, and reminding them to give their all, work hard, overcome anxiety, and balance work and rest. They also wished everyone ideal results. At the end of the meeting, the school distributed milk as presents to each student, expressing encouragement and expectations for them. Students presented expressed that they will welcome the upcoming exam in the best condition with the warmth and support receiving from the school, give their all, and live up to expectations.
The school regards “kaoyan” as an important means to promote the construction of academic atmosphere and the cultivation of high-quality talents, therefore attaches great importance to it and spares no effort to create a strong learning atmosphere, and provide guidance, services and guarantees for students through various channels, endeavoring to safeguarding their sailing.
